All reports on ScamDB are unverified user submissions. This policy explains how we review, edit, and remove reports to protect the public while respecting privacy and accuracy.

1. User-Submitted Reports

Reports on ScamDB are submitted by users and may include allegations of scam activity. We do not independently verify any reports. All reports should be treated as unverified user submissions.

2. Personal Identifiable Information (PII)

We do not allow sensitive personal information unless it is essential to identifying the reported account and is reasonably necessary to warn others. Examples of disallowed content include:

• Home addresses, private phone numbers, personal email addresses, or government ID numbers
• Bank account details, payment card numbers, or passwords
• Information about private individuals unrelated to the reported scam

If a report contains excessive or unnecessary PII, we may redact or remove it.

3. Verification and Labels

ScamDB does not verify reports. Every report is an unverified user submission. We may add labels or notes to reinforce this and to reduce confusion.

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is not allowed and may be removed:

• Harassment, hate speech, threats, or calls for violence
• False or misleading accusations
• Impersonation or doxxing
• Spam, promotional content, or irrelevant material

5. Takedown Requests

If you believe a report is inaccurate or contains sensitive information, contact us through the Contact page with supporting details. We review takedown requests promptly and may request additional information.

6. Updates and Corrections

Users cannot edit reports directly at this time. If you have updates or corrections, please submit a new report or contact us with supporting details. Reports may be updated, redacted, or removed based on new information. We may add an editing feature in the future.

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to edit, redact, or remove content at our discretion to comply with law, protect privacy, and maintain the integrity of the platform.
